Faculty member to speak for Focus on the Middle East series
The next event in Louisiana Tech’s Shaping the 21st Century: Focus on the Middle East series will involve social media in that area of the world.
Dr. A. Nazir Atassi, an assistant professor of history at Tech, will give a lecture on “Social Media in the Contemporary Middle East” at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 5 in Wyly Tower Auditorium.
The event is free and open to the public.
Shaping the 21st Century series is sponsored by the Office of Academic Affairs, the College of Liberal Arts, department of history, the International Student Office, the Student Government Association and the International Education Committee.
