‘Almost,Maine’ Debuts Wednesday
“Almost, Maine,” a comedy/drama presented by the Gordon College Theatre debuts Nov. 17.
A collection of vignettes makes up this sweet, feel-good comedy/drama which takes place “on a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter,” where “all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine.”
The play opened off Broadway in the winter of 2005 and continues to be widely praised for its smart, funny take on life and love.
The play features: Gara Pless, Ginette and Sandrine; Stephen Sparks, Phil and Jimmy; Matthew Bozeman, Steve and Dave; Thommy Harless, Man and Pete; Whitley Dismuke, Rhonda; Dillan Smith, Randy and East; Meagan Hand, Glory and Hope; Channing Wesley, Gayle and Waitress; Jenna Snidemiller, Marvalyn and Marci; Travis Shipley, Lendall and Chad.
Performances are Nov. 17-20 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium.
Tickets are available at the door and are $7 for adults, $6 for senior citizens, $5 students and $4 each for members of groups of 10 or more.
