Goal Setting Tip: Try new things!

You never know what you can do until you try. Anonymous
Isn’t that the truth! You never know what you are capable of or what you’re passionate about until you try it! That’s why we’re challenging Get Schooled followers to try 5 new things this summer!
We all have certain passions, interests and dreams that we’ve either pushed aside due to lack of time or fear of failure. But there’s never a better time than now to start working towards something new! It doesn’t have to a grandiose goal, just one that will challenge you and push you to better yourself! Here are some ideas:
1. Volunteer in your community 2. Learn how to play an instrument or a new sport 3. Run a 5K or train for a race 4. Learn how to paint 5. Take a photography class 6. Begin writing a book or drawing a comic 7. Buy a cookbook and practice cooking or baking for your family or friends 8. Start a blog 9. Learn about cars 10. Take a dance class
Whatever passion you may have, go out and try it! We love this quote from Wayne Gretzky and think it reflects the importance of taking risks and challenging yourself!
“Youll always miss 100% of the shots you dont take.”
So our challenge to you is to take that chance, embrace your passions, and work towards something new this summer! You’ll learn a lot about yourself in the process and it will feel exhilarating and fun to be challenged!
