St. Mary, Mother of Jesus-St. Frances Cabrini Academy is a Catholic parish elementary school located in Brooklyn, NYC. The school was founded to instill Christian values and teach the Catholic faith. It falls under the authority of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn.
St. Mary Mother of Jesus-St. Frances Cabrini Academy offer curricula for pre-kindergarten age three to eighth grade. The three-year-old program has three separate options:
- Full day option with supervised lunch in the classroom
- Half day morning
- Half day afternoon
The four-year-old program is a full day program.
School faculty take academics seriously, and so do the students. The class sizes are kept small so children can enjoy more one on one attention. Each classroom is equipped with the latest technology and the students attend a computer lab with state-of-the-art computer systems. Students also get a healthy dose of religious education.
St. Mary, Mother of Jesus-St. Frances Cabrini Academy has a thriving Fathers Club and a Mothers Club. The clubs exist to foster parent involvement in the educational process and parents participate in projects on behalf of their children and the school.
There is an active sports program, students take frequent field trips, and there is also an after school program.
