Prosperity Project and How Kids Do It Best!

If there’s ever a perfect time to study prosperity it must be now. With the economy crumbling round our ears and the old ways of making a living no longer viable there’s never been a better time to get serious about your prosperity.

I’ve been a student of prosperity for several years now but at the end of the Summer I decided to get really focussed and serious about practicing prosperity.

How does one practice prosperity?

Well I already started tithing a while back. That seems to be one of the main ‘commandments’ that all the prosperity masters agree on.

I’ve been reading personal development books and listening to audio or video every day for many years so what else could I do to really up my prosperity game? I wondered.

I thought of starting a video blog to track my prosperity project but decided that would be too much pressure. Creating your own prosperity and overcoming all the fears that can come with it can be quite a personal thing.

And so I did what I do best and enjoy most. I started reading and writing about it and keeping a daily prosperity journal. That’s just me. You could do it whichever way feels right for you.

It does need tracking though and you need a plan or it isn’t a project and will usually just peter out. (What a strange saying!)

And so my Prosperity Project was launched on June 24th 2010 and I’ve had some incredible results in all different areas of my life. It’s amazing what you pick up on when you really focus on what you are doing (or not doing) to create prosperity in your life each and every day.

It involves all kinds of things like monitoring your words and your thoughts. I’ve realised that kids are great at this because if you teach them this stuff early it is natural for them to be positive and to expect success.

My eldest daughter is very alert to this and has embraced the ideas of the law of attraction effortlessly. I call her my ‘LOA Coach,’ because she tells me off if she hears me saying something not in line with our prosperity.

Everyone needs a coach. Who would have thought mine would be my 14 year old daughter? Life can be surprising!

If you like the idea of starting your own prosperity project here are some of the things I’ve put in place. You can create your own plan that suits and inspires you. The main thing is to have a plan and be accountable for your daily actions.

You’ll quickly see where you fall down and where you need to focus your energy.

Working on yourself is often not easy so having a prosperity project can be really inspiring. You can look at all the key areas of your life and decide which daily actions will help you improve each of them so that before long you may be experiencing some incredible improvements. Here are the areas I track every day:

Exercise, Positive Time, Success Study, Journal, Control words & thoughts, Discipline, Take Care of Me, Feel Grateful.

I’ve developed it as I went along and have been tracking my actions and results for over 4 months now.

Within these areas I have certain things that I aim to do (or not to do!) and my tracking sheet reveals all I need to know at the end of each day, week and month.

I also keep a list of all the good things I have manifested since I began. (This includes cheques, free books, clothes, opportunities, major business breakthroughs, wonderful health improvements & lots more)

On my 4th day I received an unexpected cheque in the post and on the 5th day I won a book competition. I was hooked!

If you’d like to start your own prosperity project I recommend beginning with studying the Law of Attraction and then you can study the other prosperity laws once you have the basics going.

The Secret audios, video or book are good ones to get you out of the gate.

I also like the Abraham- Hicks law of attraction and prosperity books and audios.

Then we have Randy Gage who does some wonderful work on prosperity. You can receive daily prosperity lessons (or prods!) from his blog here: Randy Gage Cosmic Ordering, by Barbel Mohr is a really cool little book, and Catherine Ponder’s books are fabulous too as long as you don’t mind lots of biblical and religious references.

If you find the ideas here useful to you and you’d like to get started with your own prosperity project or already have one, leave me a question or comment and let us know what you’re up to.
